A total of 26 applications were received for the 2024 residency scholarships at the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel artists’ and scholarship holders’ house, of which
• 7 for the visual arts
• 3 for the field of music/composition
• 16 for the area of literature.
As part of the selection process by the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Culture, the following applicants were awarded a scholarship:
– January to March, Visual Arts: Ms. Mariel Poppe
– July to September, Literature section: Mr. Peter Berg
– October to December, Music/ Composition: Ms. Lin Yang
– October to December, Visual Arts: Mr. Florian Glaubitz
